The most common way
B197 – take the test in an automatic, drive both manual and automatic
You are tested on automatic and are then permitted to drive all vehicles in Class B, with manual or automatic transmission. An additional official manual transmission test is not required.
Intensive course
All 14 theory topics over seven evenings – and driving lessons run concurrently.
Motorcycle licence
A, A2 or A1 – motorcycle training is conducted through our own motorcycle driving school in Frankfurt.

Yes, without an appointment, during any consultation time. You come to the branch that suits you best, we'll advise you – and if you want, you can register directly. You can start the theory sessions from Monday to Friday.
For the initial consultation and registration, just bring your ID card to start. You'll need the eyesight test, passport photo, and first aid certificate later for the application with the authorities; you can get these from an optician or a course provider respectively. We'll fill out the application form itself with you.
You can attend all 14 prescribed theory topics over seven evenings – more on this on the page about the Intensive course. When you are ready for the test will also depend on your learning progress and having passed the mock test. The total duration will depend on your learning progress, your available times, and the processing of your driving licence application – we will create a realistic timetable with you during your consultation.
No. You can take the theory test in twelve languages, including English, Turkish, Standard Arabic, Romanian, and Croatian. Our driving instructors give driving lessons in over ten languages – including English, Turkish, Romanian, French, and Arabic.
Yes, anytime – even in the middle of training. Documented theory lessons and mandatory special driving lessons can usually be credited. We will review your documents, take care of the examination file, and explain the next steps to you. All details can be found on the page about Change of driving school.
Then you're not alone. We'll look together at what the problem was, practise that specifically, and re-register you as soon as possible. Before the theory test, you'll also take a mock test with us – this way, you'll only take the test when the fundamentals are truly in place.
