Frequently Asked Questions
The answers to everything we are asked every day. Is your question missing? Just call – or drop by without an appointment.
Registration and start
Yes, without an appointment, during any consultation hour. You come into the branch that suits you best, we advise you – and if you want, you can register right away.
Just your identity card. You will only need the eye test, passport photo and first aid course later for the official application – we'll help you with that.
Monday to Friday. Classes take place Mon–Fri, 6–9 pm in Bockenheim, Dornbusch and Heddernheim – if you arrive early enough, you’ll be able to get a seat that very evening.
Duration and procedure
You can attend all 14 mandatory theory topics over seven evenings. When you are ready for the test also depends on your level of learning and passing the mock test. The total duration depends on your learning progress, your available times and the processing of your driving licence application – during the consultation we will create a realistic schedule with you.
Most people opt for B197 these days: you learn and take your test in an automatic, do ten driving lessons in a manual, and are then allowed to drive both. If you want to do a lot of gear-changing right from the start, go for the classic Class B licence.
That varies for everyone – only the 12 special drives are legally fixed. During the consultation, we honestly assess your needs with you.
Prices
Honest answer: The total amount depends on your practice hours – that's different for everyone. During the consultation, we'll honestly assess your needs with you and break down all the costs before you decide.

Languages and special features

Some of our driving instructors also give driving lessons on Saturdays. Just speak to us – we will find a way that fits your routine.
Documented theory sessions and special drives can usually be credited.
Yes, the learning app from Click Click Drive – with that you practise all the theory questions on your mobile. You'll get details when you register.
