Drink-driving<\/h3>\n<p>From 1.1 per mille, driving under the influence of alcohol is a criminal offence: as a result, the driving licence is generally revoked. Even from 0.3 per mille, revocation may be threatened if your driving is conspicuous.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Drug-driving<\/h3>\n<p>Anyone who drives under the influence of drugs or medication immediately risks having their driving licence revoked. During this time you have to surrender your driving licence, but you get it back automatically once the period has expired. In contrast, in the case of a revocation of a driving licence, the licence is completely cancelled. Successful participation in driver improvement courses or abstinence programmes can also be viewed positively.<\/p>\n<p>However, you should always coordinate such steps with a solicitor or the driving licence authority, as not every measure automatically leads to a reduction.<\/p>\n<h3>Fine, penalty &amp; costs of a driving ban<\/h3>\n<p>Disqualification from driving is expensive. Anyone who breaks the rules during their probationary period must expect severe consequences. Even a single serious 'A' infraction (e.g. drink driving, running a red light) or two 'B' infractions will lead to an extension of the probationary period and mandatory remedial training. Repeated or severe infractions can lead directly to the revocation of the driving licence.<br \/>\nIt is all the more important to take on responsibility at an early stage and avoid risk situations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fp-rg-hinweis\"><strong>Important for novice drivers:<\/strong> During the probationary period and under 21, the zero-tolerance limit applies \u2013 and this now explicitly includes <strong>also cannabis<\/strong> (Section 24c StVG; the only exception is medically prescribed THC when taken as directed).
